Buoyed
by the support of KC Farm Equipment, a distributor of
his major sponsor Badboy Mowers, Sydneysider Stuart
Williams will make his first trip up to Lismore Speedway
in Northern NSW for this Saturday night’s (May 9) Sprintcar
Gold Cup event.
In
only his second season of Sprintcar racing, which has
been highlighted by a third place in the overall Thunder
through the Plains NSW Country Series, Williams has
set his eyes on contending for a spot on the podium
at the completion of the Gold Cup.
“I
have had a pretty good season and this Saturday night’s
Gold Cup will be my final event of the season and I
hope to finish the season off on a positive note,” Williams
enthused. “Being my first visit to Lismore Speedway
finishing on the podium is not going to be an easy task
but this season I have visited three new tracks and
managed to pick up the pace pretty quickly and that
gives me a bit of confidence.”

The
highlights of Williams’ second season in Sprintcars
were two back-to-back second place feature race finishes
on the podium during rounds three and four of the Thunder
through the Plains NSW Country Series at Gilgandra Speedway
and Morris Park Speedway in Western NSW.
Williams
and his team will be heading up to Lismore Speedway
a day earlier to prepare for their promotion at KC Farm
Equipment this Friday (May 8) leading up to the Gold
Cup.
The
immaculate NSW # 46 Badboy Mowers supported Eagle will
be on show this Friday at KC Farm Equipment.
KC
Farm Equipment is located at 28 Three Chain Road, South
Lismore.
