Bad
Boy Mowers Australia is proud to announce that they
have signed on with Stuart Williams once again for the
upcoming 2009/10 NSW Sprintcar season.
The
2008/09 season was their first venture into the Speedway
sponsorship market and the team from Bad Boy Mowers
Australia were pleased with how their association with
Williams and his NSW # 46 Sprintcar went and have agreed
to link up with the team once again.
“Last
season was the first time we have stepped into Speedway
sponsorship and we were pleased with the response to
continue our involvement with the sport,” enthused Rod
from Bad Boy Mowers Australia. “Stuart [Williams] is
regarded as one of the emerging talents in Australian
Sprintcar racing and he has shown that he has a bright
future ahead of him and we are happy to help supporting
him.”
Williams
during the 2008/09 season, only his second season in
Sprintcars, enjoyed a successful season by finishing
third overall in the Thunder through the Plains NSW
Country Series, which included two podium finishes.
Williams also registered a number of standout performances
at his home track Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway
(TPCR) and he also set a new lap record in qualifying
time trials at Lismore Speedway during the Gold Cup
event in what was his debut appearance at the track.

“In
our second season of Sprintcars we have shown a lot
of improvement and I hope to continue that [improvement]
this coming season,” expressed Williams. “Our plan is
to once again contest the whole Thunder through the
Plains NSW Country Series and also do as many shows
as possible at TPCR and hopefully we can be right up
there amongst the top five runners wherever we travel
to.”
Apart
from wanting to challenge for the Thunder through the
Plains NSW Country Series, Williams also wants to compete
in the series to help promote the Bad Boy Mowers Australia
brand.
“The
Thunder through the Plains NSW Country Series travels
to a number of remote areas across NSW such as Dubbo,
Gilgandra and Gunnedah and that is where a lot of the
target market for Bad Boy Mowers Australia is,” Williams
explained. “The guys from Bad Boy Mowers absolutely
love their motorsport and even Rod came up with the
team and joined our pit crew for the Gold Cup in Lismore
and loved the experience. That is the type of people
they are, as they want to be involved in every possible
way not just in the way of sponsorship and that is something
that we are very happy to accommodate.”
